Use Wisely!!
Forms are very useful and save lots of time but can't be used to avoid thinking or actual work.
- Look at them as a great place to start
- You might want to look at multiple forms to get ideas
- Make sure your form complies with the specific law of your jurisdiction (a California lease might not be appropriate for Arizona)
- Make sure you have confidence in the creator of the form
- Be sure your form is not out of date
- Has a court rule changed a required format?
- Has the substantive area of the law changed?
- Remember that using the wrong form could results in losing your client money, losing a case, and malpractice…
